Interior & Exterior Painting

Paint that lasts, prep that shows

Interior walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets. Exterior siding, decks, trim. Real prep work with proper cleaning, patching, priming — the reason our paint jobs still look good after 10 years.

Painting services we do

  • Interior wall painting (single color or multi-color)
  • Ceiling painting (flat white or specialty finishes)
  • Trim and molding painting (baseboards, crown, casing)
  • Accent wall painting (feature colors, wood panels)
  • Interior door painting (both sides, prep + prime + 2 coats)
  • Cabinet painting (kitchen, bathroom, built-ins)
  • Exterior house painting (siding, trim)
  • Deck and fence painting (staining, sealing)
  • Stain and varnish application (interior and exterior wood)
  • Popcorn ceiling removal + repaint
Prep is 80% of a paint job. If your last paint job peeled or looked patchy after a year, it wasn't the paint — it was the prep. We wash walls, patch, sand, and prime before we ever open a topcoat can.

Our painting process

1

Prep

Cover floors and furniture. Wash surfaces, patch holes, sand smooth.

2

Prime

Bare drywall, patches, stains get primer. Prevents bleed-through.

3

Paint

Two coats standard. Cut lines clean, no drips, sanded between coats.

4

Cleanup

Furniture back, drop cloths out, touch-ups, final walk-through.

What we use

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore pro-grade lines — Emerald for interiors, ProClassic for cabinets and trim, Regal Select for ceilings. Not the $25/gallon builder-grade. Better coverage, longer lifespan, worth the extra cost.

FAQ

How long until I can move furniture back?

Latex paint is dry to touch in 1-2 hours but for full cure and no marks, we wait 24-48 hours.

Do you paint over wallpaper?

Preferred is to remove wallpaper first. If it's too much or damaged, we can prime with oil-based primer and paint over, but the wall texture will show.

What about lead paint in older homes?

Homes built before 1978 may have lead paint. We work with clients on approach case-by-case.

Cabinet painting — how long does it last?

Done right (proper prep, ProClassic paint, sanded between coats) — 8-12 years easily. Done wrong (skipping prep) — 6-12 months before chips and peeling.
